Title

Culture Shock

Author

Ian C. Dawkins Moore

Synopsis

This book is about the experience of Culture shock as it affects individuals coming to America, and those who live in America.

Each and every individual today suffers from Culture Shock whether they realize it or not. Each and every individual is born to a particular society and culture in the world today, and is confronted daily with a challenge to the notion that his or her world-view is supreme. The globalization of our world has forced upon each of us the realization that our particular cultural perspective is just that, a narrow world view of human activity.

This book's intent is to explore the viable and meaningful cultural experiences that we all have, which can be shared, and serve as a bridge to the understanding of our individual and collective humanity.
