House Of Glass

Synopsis
I am an adult preacher's kid and I wrote this book because I believe there are people who are either preacher's kids (or other public figures) who need to hear the message of the long-term effects "glass house judgment" has on a child and continuing into adulthood. I gave up because of the judgmental attitudes toward me, and more importantly, my father. However, this book is not intended only for the children of public figures because no matter the reason for a person giving up and leaving God, the end result is the same.
Sin will take you where you never dreamed possible, and we must return to God and allow Him to restore us. Whether or not you relate to my personal experiences or not, most people can relate to the depravity of my sin, and recognize the need to seek God. This is His desire: to be in an intimate, personal relationship with all of us. No matter what we've done, or didn't do, we can and will experience victory if we will allow God to take charge of our lives. This is what led me to write House of Glass. I have found perfect peace in the victory I now have over sin through the blood of Jesus Christ. I hope that in the telling of my story, other people find healing.
Biography
I am the daughter of a Pastor. I believe the awareness of my call into music ministry was in part due to my father and mother having me begin to sing solos in church at the age of three. I never wondered if I was called into ministry, I only wondered when God would open the doors for me to step through into this honorable calling. I knew God had placed this call on me because as I explored careers, I was never passionate about anything other than singing for God. This includes working and getting a degree in Business Management/Accounting as well as my Licensed Practical Nurse training (I work as a private duty nurse). I believe God gave me this passion to let me know what He was asking me to do as the purpose for my living, as well as to keep me going during the testing times in preparation for this ministry.
Life has become an awesome journey. I thank God for the lessons, the things that brought me to my knees during those times of testing; things that forced me to search His heart; things that brought about the insight that there is strength in weakness, God's strength.
