Title
Believing
Author
Steven Lucky
Synopsis
Believing is the second book of poetry in a trilogy by Steve Lucky. His first book, To Change the World and Other Poems, offered a practical and lyrical guide to living a simpler, happier life. Believing follows this trend, yet this collection offers a slightly different air. Once again exploring the themes of spirituality, kindness, God, friendship, nature, personal struggles and interactions, Mr. Lucky continues with his undying positivity, but adopts a slightly more somber approach in dealing with the tragic events that took place on American soil on September 11, 2001.
The simplicity of these poems makes them accessible to everyone, and the varied subject matter, ranging from self to others, nature to emotions, and spirituality to integrity, provides inspiration to all readers.
