Biography Award winning author, James D. Yoder, was born in Kansas City, Missouri. His stories reflect his Midwestern roots. A graduate of Goshen College, Goshen Biblical Seminary, CMSU, and holding a Ph.D. from the University of Missouri, KC, his career included teaching, clergy, and university psychologist. His Echoes Along the Sweetbrier was a Semi-Finalist in the 2005 Independent Book Publisher's Contest. His books have won regional and state Best Book awards.
