Title
How to Write a Home Owner's Manual
Author
Dave Lynn
Synopsis
When the power goes off during a winter storm, do you know where to turn off the water and drain the pipes before they freeze? Does your spouse know how to do this? It’s time to write down how to operate the various systems in your house; such as heating, cooling, security, and waste systems. This practical guide will walk you through the process of collecting information needed to complete your manual, suggest areas to include and provide forms to fill in. You cannot buy a user’s manual for your house, you have to write it because every house is different.
