Title
A Walk to Walla Walla and The Anvil Chorus
Author
Frank Blick
Synopsis
Protagonist Aaron Brome "… watched clouds waft away, leaving misty stars in the seashore sky." He logs for his married lover, and sees for the first time beyond the close parameters of his dutiful existence as a bachelor son, in author Frank Blick's A Walk to Walla Walla and The Anvil Chorus. Would an escape to Walla Walla, the legendary lodestar of his parents' pioneer days, really be equal to leaving home? Could a hired hand's shack be a place to dwell? Would his lover, Sarah, be content with this? These and other questions are answered in this heartrending story of life's complexities.
The author's second offering, "The Anvil Chorus," tells of a cave-in and flood in the finale of Idaho's gold rush days. Excitement and adventure abound as the author weaves his intriguing narrative.
These are two stories by a gifted teller of engrossing tales.
