Who are the JonesHarvest Victims? I keep reading about them on the internet. These victims certainly are not our clients. In most cases I’ve never even heard of them. Still, I am under constant attack.

Some people seem relentless in seeking out and posting negative comments on any and all publishing companies that charge a fee to authors. These people have made it their life’s mission to try and destroy publishing opportunities for other authors. Unfortunately, not everyone has been blessed with a traditional publishing contract and some of us have to do whatever is necessary to get our stories, memories or messages in print. If they had their way, no one but the elite would ever see their book in print.

One of the most vehement critics blasts every self-publishing company on Earth—except his own, of course. I resent the attacks. I had to pay to publish my three books too!

Many attacks are from complete strangers, but one self proclaimed advocate for self-publishing victims (NOT JONESHARVEST PUBLISHING) has posted several lies that were specific. (Not only posted them but spammed authors as well.) They were all the direct result of a smear campaign by one disgruntled ex-employee. Instead of asking me directly if there was any truth to these accusations, this person decided to post these lies as if they were facts. I remain available to anyone who would like to discuss these attacks further. However, the fact is, there is no way to defend yourself from the attacks of strangers.

As for SPAMMING authors with negative comments, please think twice before responding or the emails will just keep coming.
